We offer a special package to help you discover your new solution.

Our experienced business analysts will explain the processes and functionality supported, walk you through the different options and ask you all the business questions.

If some key functionality is not available out of the box, we will take care of this and define the necessary extensions or add-ons to make it available to you.

We involve your business stakeholders and define the processes required to complete your new business solution blueprint.

How do we do it?

Understand the framing of your solution

Initiate

In our first meeting (ideally 1-2 hours) we will discuss your business needs and show some examples of project scope, including related project sizes, to understand how the Discovery phase should be organised.

We prepare your workshop based on your input

Prepare

 

As soon as you begin an engagement with us, we begin preparing for your Discovery Workshop.

We set up your discovery environment and pre-scope the features and functions based on your initial requirements and industry. All features and functions (scope items) have an implementation effort estimate based on our experience and best practices. The estimate is transparent throughout the project phases.

We will ask you to identify contacts within your organisation who can agree the scope details per business area. These contacts will be assigned to pre-defined personas (roles within business processes) to ensure that we do not miss any business stakeholder.

For the customer requirements understood in the Initiate Meeting, we prepare the details as a starting point for the Discovery Workshop meetings.

As part of the discovery phase, we also prepare a demo landscape. This allows us to demonstrate the features and functions on the system during the workshops, if required.

Based on the scope frame, we schedule the Discovery Workshop sessions, which typically last 2 weeks.

 

Conclude on your scope

Workshops

The Discovery Workshop usually takes place within 2 weeks and we run up to 3 workshop sessions in parallel to ensure that all issues are covered and clarified.

Action items are noted at the workshop and each day after the workshop sessions the action items are incorporated into the scope item to ensure that the scope items are completely clear.

After these workshop sessions, all scope items are classified as either In Scope, Out of Scope or Potential Future Scope. Only “In Scope” items become part of this project scope, while “Potential Future Scope” can be considered in a subsequent future project.

Deliver the Discovery results

Post Processing

Based on the information gathered in the Discovery Workshop, we create the deliverables.

The final deliverables are presented to the customer at the wrap-up meeting.

Based on the deliverables, we will provide you with a fixed price quote for the implementation project.

The fixed price quote also includes some scope flexibility. As the customer, you will be able to remove scope items from the current scope and replace them with scope items that are initially out of scope but of a similar size in terms of implementation effort.
